Christmas Shortbread Recipe Does Anyone Have A Good Shortbread Or Cookie Recipe.?

Does anyone have a good shortbread or cookie recipe.? - christmas shortbread recipe

I make for Christmas this year .. I have the cookie cutter shaped like Christmas now have a simple recipe!

This is one of my favorite is so easy and always delicious.

1 cup butter, softened
1 / 4 cup white sugar
1 / powdered sugar 4 cups
1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon tea
Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla. Flour and salt. Mix well, cool for 10 minutes, then roll in thick 1 / 4 inch and cut into shape. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan.

Biscuits



Makes 2 dozen



All 2 cups flour

Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon tea

1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder

1 / 2 cup (1 stick) butter

1 cup sugar

1 large egg, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons brandy or milk

1 tablespoon of extract / 2 teaspoon pure vanilla

Royal Icing, optional

1. Salt, mix flour, the flour and baking powder in medium bowl. Provided in the bowl of an electric mixer with paddle, butter and sugar, add dry ingredients and mix until Incorporated. With the mixer running, add egg, brandy (or milk) and vanilla and mix until Incorporated.

2. Transfer dough to a work surface. Shape into 2 discs, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with a Teflon mat or parchment paper, for later.

4. On a lightly floured surface, dough 1 / 8Inches thick. Cut into the desired shape and prepared for transfer to a baking sheet, so that an inch in the middle. The excess mass can be rolled and cut once. Bake until they are lightly browned, about 10 minutes, can not be too brown. Transfer to rack to cool.

5. Decorate with Royal Icing, optional.

Neiman Marcus cookie in the last year, except that I added Peart Nutella and chunks of butter instead of espresso, and uploaded the recipe macadamia nuts, finely chopped and ground oatmeal. He has a lot of cookies.

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy (approximately 30 seconds to move)

2. Add egg and vanilla extract for another 30 seconds.

3. In a bowl, sift together the dry ingredients and beat the butter mixture at low speed for about 15 seconds. Add espresso powder and chocolate shavings.

4. Spoon 1 ounce or one tablespoon of cookie dough 2 Measure down on a greased cookie sheet 3 inches away. Press lightly on the dough with the back of a spoon in a circular distributed by 2 inches. The baking time is about 20 minutes or until they are golden brown around the edges. Cook a little more than a crunchy biscuit.

Yield: 2 dozen cookies
