My toshiba notebook wont go to screen saver as long as the optical mouse is active? - toshiba mouse

Toshiba said it was for the optical mouse. Other models can use an optical mouse and go directly to the screen saver when idle.

Not your laptop, I have the same problem with a Microsoft wireless mouse I use two different laptops (one Sony and HP) and non-savers with the wireless receiver connected to the screen in Microsoft says that there is a compatibility problem if you have a PCM and a DVD-release program is running in the background. You can close applications or a Windows update to fix the problem, should be installed, look at this site:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911895, btw, I have all updates and do not work for me, you might try a brand or drag the mouse receptor, or even from Microsoft about the problem, very good are to help the problems.

The optical mouse could be the problem. Have you tried to see dragging the mouse to see if she went on the screen? When the mouse, try a mouse pad when not in others. Only a desk you can make the mouse pointer over a bit like the optical mouse, is thought to see the movement, although it is not in fact. This would prevent the computer goes into hibernation
